About this release
This is our first cask from this beautifully situated distillery, and our first bottling of the year. We wanted to mark the 40th anniversary of the Fèis Ìle festival.
Bunnahabhain FoT is the third release in the series. After 19-year-old Ardmore and 30-year-old North British, we are continuing the tradition with another sherry cask whisky. We have 181 bottles at 500 ml for more than 600 members of the Friends of The Taste of Whisky community, so demand may once again outstrip supply.
We are sure this Bunnahabhain will win over fans of classic, unpeated Islay whisky. Seventeen years in a refill sherry cask bring out the traditional character of the distillery and everything we love about Bunnahabhain.

Taste
Varnish and sea spray, plenty of dark chocolate with cherries, a hint of soy sauce, tannins and dried plums.
Finish
Long and salty, with dried plums in dark chocolate lingering to the end.
